Last year Ryan Davis of Giant Bomb debuted a video feature in which he watched every game-to-movie adaptation and reviewed it in video form, usually highlighting ridiculous scenes and how bad the movie actually was. I’m pretty sure that all the Uwe Boll addled his brain, but he’s nonetheless come back to This Ain’t No Game (TANG) with a twist. Wii came out yesterday to the delight of many who missed old school Mario adventures and were looking for a chance to relive the fun of the old days with their family and friends. It also shipped with a 4-player mode that I’m convinced will end friendships, break up marriages, and devastate any other relationships you might have. Just one person acting like a jerk (hint: it was me) in the 3-player matches I played with Eric and Danielle was enough to have her swear off of the multiplayer modes, so imagine four people going nuts. ...

In case you’ve been living under a rock or just don’t really follow PC news, everyone is abuzz about the announcement of Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Colonization. As many have pointed out, that’s quite the epic title, but I suppose it’s appropriate considering the epic nature of new-world colonization. Ryan Davis of Giant Bomb posted a great article as an uninitiated player of the series. All I can say on the matter is that I sunk SO MUCH time into the original Colonization that I can’t wait to get my hands on this new game. It’s gonna be…wait for it…legendary. ...
