We interrupt your regularly scheduled sports updates to bring you trailers of three Square Enix announced RPGs for the Xbox 360: The first is The Last Remnant: Next we have Star Ocean 4 (AKA Star Ocean: The Last Hope): And last we have Infinite Undiscovery: Of the three, The Last Remnant impresses and attracts me the most. Star Ocean has never really been a franchise that calls to me, but it also looks kind of neat. Infinite Undiscovery, on top of being an Action RPG (confirmed by IGN), seems to have pretty weak production values compared to the other two. Granted, Star Ocean didn’t really show any in-game footage, but its pre-rendered stuff looked better too. Maybe Infinite Undiscovery is always running in-engine? ...

Yesterday saw two amazing athletic events up here at Cornell’s Senior week with a miniature golf tournament and two games of bowling. Golf did not go so well for me, as I fell one stroke behind Yin and brought up the rear of seven golfers. The best part was that it all came down to the last hole, which I botched on the last shot to give Yin the win. The main event was $5 placed on Lee and James’ game, which Lee was in jeopardy of losing for about 3/4 of the match, but a few bad holes put him securely in first (of the two). ...

Exams are finally over, so we can get some good ‘ol posting done again. Unfortunately, I don’t have much prepared, so go check out the MLB standings and be in total awe over the fact that both the Marlins and Rays are leading their respective divisions.

It took me a while to find my bowling groove as I threw countless gutter balls in my 81 point first game, but once I figured out the best way for me to throw the ball (cannon it down the lane to give it less time to veer), I started doing a little better, finishing off the night with 96. This past Sunday in Ithaca we had some snow (apparently) or some other kind of precipitation and the temperature sat in the 30s for most of the day. As a result, softball was canceled. They suffered two brutal losses to the Mets, but came back and slapped the Pirates around for two games. The Pirates fought back the third game with a large victory, but the Marlins have hit the road strong with a 10-7 victory over the Washington Nationals.
