That kind of thing happens when I hang out with Min. Movies The Descendants - Shailene Woodley was a revelation as Alex in this movie. Excellent acting. George Clooney was also quite good. Pretty chill movie and worth seeing, even if the land ownership subplot is kind of tacked on and not as interesting. ...

The Gregory Brothers are back with a new Auto-Tune the News. I’m loving the callbacks in this one and I’m still amused by the stupid things congressmen say and try to make analogies with. A turtle fence…really? It’s like they’re just goofing off and it’s some kind of huge joke being played on the American people.

Deep from the trenches, it’s time for your Monday video feature: Embedded Reporter. We’re back to everyone’s favorite day of the week: Monday. This week I’ve got a few selections for you to watch and enjoy. First on the agenda is the latest in my favorite ad campaign in a long time, the Sony VP of [Insert VP Title Here] ads. I really hope this ad campaign sticks around for a while, it’s the first time that I think Sony’s really “got” it. Too often their ad campaigns are unnecessarily arty, bizarre, and alienating. I’m sure the idea behind those campaigns was to get people thinking about the product to look it up themselves, but it’s really more effective to have a solid, funny, VP of Epic Footage to help sell the system. ...

Deep from the trenches, it’s time for your Monday video feature: Embedded Reporter. Probably my least favorite auto-tune, but it may be the musical style they used. This commercial makes me laugh like crazy. I love the ending.

The Gregory Brothers keep it going strong with yet another fantastic auto-tune. It’s certainly their most ambitious production yet. I’m really enjoying what they do.
