Vinny and Jeff finally reached the final boss to the Void Quest yesterday, but stopped short of entering to save the grinding and eventual confrontation for today. As someone who lost to the Void Quest boss a good two or three times, this could be interesting.

Last time Vinny finally made Black Frost and seemed a little underwhelmed with the “palette swap.” It was a fairly short episode that mostly had fusing in it. Today they explore deeper into the Void Quest dungeon. As someone who has conquered the dungeon twice, I know that they’re about to hit the hard, strange stuff today.
The last Endrance Run TODAY (two in one day!) took a turn for the weird with some furry comments, but the gang is firmly dedicated to their “Black Frost side quest.” Mentions of the Gun Show “BOOM!”, how Long Island is weird, David Bowie the Pixie, anti-marijuana jokes, eating candy, twizzler shivs, 80s movies, and FOX in the dungeon?
In yesterday’s Endurance Run, Vinny and Jeff did a fair amount of fusing to prepare for unleashing Black Frost upon the demons of the Midnight Channel, only to find that they were two levels too low to manage the fusion. While it is a mostly fusion-centric episode, the gang does also venture into the Void Quest to make some progress. Will they level up enough to fuse Black Frost?

When I was a kid I became saddled with the unfortunate notion that Japan did pretty much everything better than the United States. I don’t think I would have gone so far as to call myself a Japanophile, but it was definitely close. Their video games were all sweet (FF VI and Chrono Trigger!) and their cartoons sure beat the heck out of the asinine stuff I was sometimes watching on the Disney Afternoon. This may have had something to do with the fact that I was watching Bubblegum Crisis and Ranma at a time when the best cartoon I could watch was Timon and Pumbaa, but it would be foolish to think that the allure of the unknown didn’t factor into it too. ...
