5 April MLB Florida Marlins (1) at New York Mets (7). Josh Johnson loses his first game against the Mets (lifetime 7-0) while the Mets grow their Opening Day win streak to five games. The Marlins are 0-1. They are naturally tied for last place. Philadelphia Phillies (11) at Washington Nationals (1). President Obama’s message of Hope couldn’t buoy the Nats over the Phils. They held a lead until the floodgates opened for the Phillies in the 5th. Then things just got ugly. The Nationals are 0-1 and tied for last.
